X Sunsets Its Revenue-Sharing Program For Creators, Offers A New Plan

X announced it is phasing out its Revenue Sharing program for creators and replacing with a system called the Original Content Rewards Program, Mashable reports. The new
program ties earnings to “qualified impressions” a creator’s content generates instead of the advertising-revenue split under  the old system.
 Revenue Sharing members
can apply for the new program starting Sept. 8, the day after the old one expires. Revenue Sharing members will receive three final payouts—two in August and one around Sept. 11 for sums earned
after the cutoff date.
