Tesla Sues California DMV, Claiming It Did Not Falsely Advertise Its Systems

Tesla has sued the California DMV, seeking to reverse a ruling that it “wrongfully and baselessly labels Tesla a false advertiser for marketing its industry-leading
advanced driver-assistance systems (‘ADAS’) under the brand names ‘Autopilot” and ‘Full-Self Driving Capability.” However, the California DMV said the brand would not incur a
license suspension because it changed its marketing, but Tesla still argues that it did not receive due process in hearings.
