The Paramount-Warner Bros merger may not receive UK clearance, by the deadline of Sept. 30, Deadline reports. The House of Commons has gone into recess, and it is not yet known
if UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy will issue a “public interest intervention notice,” which would lead to investigations. The merger could close without UK
support, but Paramount has intended to respect the UK process.
