NOTUS, a Washington political news website, will be relaunched as “The Star” during the first week of June, according to Tim Grieve, editor in chief, The New York
Times reports. The site has plans to fill a voice caused by deep staff cuts at The Washington Post. NOTUS was launched in 2023 with a tie to the Allbritton Journalism Institute, a
nonprofit that trains young political journalists.
