A federal judge has halted the $81 billion merger between Paramount and Warner Bros.Discoery for at least two weeks to give states that sued to challenge the deal more time to
pursue their case, ABC News reports. District Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín granted a temporary restraining office on Monday. “This is a critical first win in our case to ensure
this megamerger never sees the light of day,” said Rob Bonta, California Attorney General.
