Marketing Coordinator – State and Local in the USA or Canada

Cloud for Good is a mission-driven Salesforce consulting partner helping nonprofits, higher education institutions, and public sector organizations innovate and amplify their impact using Salesforce and connected technologies. 

As we expand our State & Local Government (SLED) focus, we are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Marketing Coordinator to support execution of campaigns, events, content publishing, and lead routing for this growing practice area. 

Location: Virtual, home-based office in the US or Canada  

Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship. 

Role Summary 

The Marketing Coordinator – State and Local will provide critical coordination and execution support to Cloud for Good’s marketing and growth efforts in the State & Local market. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to develop broad skills across campaign operations, event execution, content publishing, and marketing support functions. 

This position works closely with Marketing leadership and State and Local practice stakeholders, supporting the team with organization, execution, and follow-through. 

Key Skills & Traits 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines 
  • Organized, process-driven, and able to coordinate multiple projects at once 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Comfort working with internal stakeholders and external vendors 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Interest in Salesforce and B2B/B2G marketing 
  • Experience in nonprofit, education, or public sector a plus 

Core Responsibilities 

Campaign & Asset Coordination (SLED) 

  • Support execution of SLED marketing campaigns by coordinating timelines, tasks, and deliverables 
  • Build and maintain project trackers for campaigns, content, and events 
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for asset delivery (design, edits, formatting) 
  • Assist with campaign QA and publishing processes 

Content Formatting & Publishing 

  • Coordinate the formatting, proofreading, and publishing of marketing materials 
  • Support blog publishing workflows and basic web updates (with guidance) 
  • Organize and maintain a library of SLED marketing assets and internal enablement materials 

Event & Webinar Support 

  • Assist with planning and execution of webinars and events: 
  • registration setup 
  • reminder emails 
  • speaker logistics support 
  • post-event follow-up coordination 
  • Support lead capture and handoff processes after events 

Lead & CRM Support 

  • Support inbound lead routing workflows for SLED 
  • Maintain accurate campaign tagging and list documentation 
  • Support CRM hygiene and campaign membership updates as assigned 

Research & Administrative Support 

  • Conduct basic research on target agencies, events, and public sector trends (as directed) 
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor coordination 
  • Maintain organized records of marketing documentation and performance summaries 

What Success Looks Like 

  • Marketing campaigns and event workflows run smoothly and on time 
  • Assets are consistently formatted, organized, and easy for Sales to access 
  • Leads are routed correctly and follow-up workflows are supported effectively 
  • The SLED practice feels supported with strong coordination and execution

  • Travel Requirements 
    • All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—may be required based on project and client needs. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually. Travel is considered an essential part of this position and supports effective client engagement, collaboration, and company representation. 
  • Work Environment 
    • Cloud for Good is a fully remote company. Team members are expected to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace that is camera-ready for video meetings. Collaboration takes place across Zoom, Office 365, Salesforce, and Slack during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone). 
  • Client Time Zone Alignment 
    • As a team member, you may be required to adjust your work hours to align with your key client’s time zone to support effective communication, collaboration, and project delivery. Flexibility and coordination with your Project Lead (Services) will help ensure success in this client-facing role.
