The Agentforce Virtual Hackathon challenged participants to build real-world solutions using the Agentforce platform. Builders from across the Trailblazer Community came together to use tools that brought their ideas to life, including those especially relevant for Salesforce Admins, like Prompt Builder, Flow, and Slack integrations.
We’re highlighting a few of the most impactful, creative, and technically impressive solutions that came out of the Hackathon. Whether you’re just getting started with Agentforce or already hands-on, these projects are packed with inspiration and ideas for what you can build next with Agentforce.
AI-powered crisis response
AgentResQ’s submission won “Most Impactful” in the Virtual Hackathon. Team members Anurag Palivela, Salesforce Platform Architect, and Aashish Mahodaya, Salesforce Consultant, created a compelling example of how admins can use Agentforce to automate complex, multi-step processes and deliver impact fast.
What sparked the idea
In times of crisis, victims need immediate support—but most aid systems still rely on manual processes, disconnected teams, and delayed responses.
How it works
AgentResQ is a real-time, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered crisis response assistant built entirely on Salesforce’s Agentforce platform. Through a single conversation, it transforms victim outreach into a fully automated, intelligent aid pipeline.
Key capabilities include location detection via custom API, conversational data collection for victims and families, real-time alerts sent to Slack, and more.
What we learned
We unlocked new possibilities through data consolidation, summarization, analysis, and predictive modeling. In addition to using Agentforce in a standalone environment, we found it beneficial to learn how to implement it in a multi-channel integration, allowing for effective communication across social channels, Slack, and multiple organizations.
Hands-free expense management
Built by Data Cloud Architect Cristian Alfonso, Salesforce Consultant Veronica Casarello, and Salesforce Specialist Consultant Daniela Martinez, this project is an excellent example of how admins can use custom flows and AI to help their users reduce manual entry, save time, and minimize errors.
What sparked the idea
We wanted to create a solution for sales reps to manage their corporate expenses using just their voice, whether from a smartphone or a smartwatch. With this assistant, they can easily record or modify expenses, check their remaining budget, and get real-time answers to common questions about the reimbursement system.
How it works
Our solution allows sales reps to log expenses via voice from their phone or smartwatch and provides real-time budget tracking and updates. It also answers FAQs about company reimbursement policies and automatically categorizes expenses. The agent is deployed through an Experience Cloud site to make it accessible to sales reps.
Key components include:
- A custom Expenses object that stores data like name, date, category, and amount
- A custom Budget object that stores the available budget for each sales rep
- A Service Agent that manages the full expense lifecycle with supporting flows and answers FAQs using a Knowledge Object
What we learned
We gained experience with tools like Data Library, Custom Objects, and Prompt Builder, and addressed challenges like integrating the Service Agent with flows to ensure it could successfully update records in real time.
Agentforce enhancements
LeadClic Solutions Head of Salesforce Architecture Borja González’s Agentforce build won “Most Creative” in the Virtual Hackathon. It showcases how admins can level up Agentforce using only core Salesforce tools like flows and Agentforce Builder.
What sparked the idea
I wanted to learn Agentforce, so I started studying and experimenting with it. As I explored its capabilities, I asked myself, “What would make this tool even more seamless for users?” I focused on improving the overall user experience, and not just for specific use cases.
How it works
AgentPlus is a suite of enhancements that extends Agentforce’s capabilities by focusing on speed, context, and natural interaction—so users can love Agentforce even more!
Its features fall into these main categories.
- Smart Navigation: New actions make navigating the Salesforce UI across apps, tabs, and records more efficient.
- Visual Charts: Agentforce can now respond with interactive charts, making your data easy to visualize during a conversation.
- Memory Sets: Users can save the context of a conversation so topics can be recalled later with ease.
- AgentPlus Voice: A conversational interface using voice or choice, enabling users to interact with the agent naturally and hands-free.
It’s built entirely using Salesforce core functionality—no external solutions or services required. That means flows, Lightning web components, Apex, and Agentforce Builder.
What we learned
Above all, we learned Agentforce—this was our first real hands-on experience with it. The Speech API was also new territory for us. Achieving reliable speech interaction was challenging but very rewarding once it worked.
Field service support via Slack and Agentforce
FieldSync Pro was created by Senior Salesforce Consultant Tammy Chong and Senior Salesforce Developer Mark Woodbridge to offer a streamlined field service solution that’s powered by Salesforce core tools.
What sparked the idea
FieldSync Pro was inspired by a passion to empower small to medium-sized HVAC businesses (SMBs) to overcome fragmented field service operations. SMBs often rely on disjointed tools, causing inefficiencies, errors, and technician frustration. Unlike large enterprises with complex systems, SMBs lack the budget or expertise for advanced solutions such as Field Service Lightning. FieldSync Pro bridges this gap with a cost-effective, Slack-based solution integrated with Agentforce.
How it works
The FieldSync Slack app empowers technicians to perform critical tasks efficiently, reducing administrative overhead and enhancing service delivery. Capabilities include a daily summary of service appointments, technician arrival and departure time-tracking, and more.
Tools used:
- The Service Agent template with custom topics and actions to enable tasks like troubleshooting, maintenance scheduling, and stock check
- Prompt Builder to generate Einstein-powered completion summaries from technician inputs during Slack conversations
- Data Cloud to store technical data, enabling Agentforce to provide accurate troubleshooting guidance by consolidating information typically scattered across platforms
What we learned
Building the FieldSync app for the Hackathon broadened our expertise as a two-person team working with Agentforce and Slack development. We learned to craft precise prompts for features like Prompt Builder, Agent Actions, and topics. We gained expertise in designing Slack app architecture to support features like photo syncing and interactive buttons on Slack. Integrating Agentforce APIs successfully for dynamic interactions with our custom app was the steepest learning curve.
Keep the momentum going
From streamlining crisis response to enabling voice-controlled expense reporting, these Hackathon solutions show how Agentforce empowers Trailblazers to turn their AI visions into reality. Check out the full Agentforce Virtual Hackathon project gallery to see more use cases in action.
