Chief Strategy Officer in the USA or Canada

Cloud for Good is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to partner directly with the CEO in defining and executing the company’s strategy at the intersection of data, AI, and agentic solutions. This role will be accountable for accelerating go-to-market execution and growing revenue generated from data- and agent-led offerings, while ensuring Cloud for Good delivers measurable, differentiated value to clients across the impact ecosystem. 

Location: Virtual: Home-based office in the US or Canada.  

Work Authorization: Citizens or Permanent Residents of USA or Canada. Cannot provide Visa sponsorship.  

Responsibilities 

  • Own enterprise strategy for agentic solutions, Data Cloud, and data governance, translating platform capabilities into revenue-generating, outcome-driven offerings. 
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, enable field execution, and directly drive growth in revenue from data and agent-based solutions. 
  • Define and be accountable for revenue targets associated with data, AI, and agentic offerings, including pipeline influence and closed revenue. 
  • Lead positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy for data- and AI-led solutions in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Alliances, and Delivery. 
  • Establish how Cloud for Good delivers measurable client value through advanced use of data, analytics, and AI across nonprofit, higher education, and public sector organizations. 
  • Work in close partnership with Delivery leadership to ensure strategy is executable, scalable, and embedded in client engagements. 
  • Serve as a senior executive voice with key partners, clients, and ecosystem stakeholders, representing Cloud for Good’s point of view on data and AI for impact. 
  • Identify emerging platform capabilities, market shifts, and partnership opportunities that inform near-term growth and long-term strategy. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, AI, and agentic architectures, with demonstrated experience driving adoption and revenue at scale. 
  • Strong understanding of Data Cloud, agentic solutions, and modern data governance models. 
  • Proven ability to translate complex platform capabilities into clear business value and commercial offerings. 
  • Established credibility and relationships within the enterprise cloud ecosystem. 
  • Executive presence with a track record of partnering with Sales teams and holding accountability for growth outcomes. 
  • This role is designed for a strategic leader who combines platform fluency, commercial rigor, and ecosystem credibility to help Cloud for Good scale its impact through data and AI.

  • Travel Requirements 
    • All roles at Cloud for Good include a travel component. Business travel—both domestic and international—may be required based on project and client needs. The amount of travel will vary by role but is generally expected to be up to 20% annually. Travel is considered an essential part of this position and supports effective client engagement, collaboration, and company representation. 
  • Work Environment 
    • Cloud for Good is a fully remote company. Team members are expected to maintain a professional, distraction-free workspace that is camera-ready for video meetings. Collaboration takes place across Zoom, Office 365, Salesforce, and Slack during standard business hours (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone). 
  • Client Time Zone Alignment 
    • As a team member, you may be required to adjust your work hours to align with your key client’s time zone to support effective communication, collaboration, and project delivery. Flexibility and coordination with your Project Lead (Services) will help ensure success in this client-facing role.
