Agentforce Life Sciences: June 2026 Newsletter

A Note from our General Manager

Welcome to the first edition of the Agentforce Life Sciences newsletter. I’m thrilled to launch this new forum for sharing customer stories, industry innovation, and the latest developments across the life sciences ecosystem. This quarter , we have a lot to celebrate: our Life Sciences Feasibility Agent took home the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026, recognized for its consumer-grade interface built specifically for clinical trial site selection, new product innovations, the launch of our Agentforce Life Sciences partner certification, and customers going live in record time. From the growing movement around headless implementations that give our partners and customers greater flexibility, to the pace at which teams are moving from pilot to production, we’re no longer just talking about the agentic era in life sciences — we’re living it. Thank you for being part of this community and on this journey with us.Joe Ferraro

Customer Wins & Go-Lives: The Momentum Is Real

The life sciences industry is moving fast — and so are we. Here’s a snapshot of who’s going live and what they’re achieving with Agentforce Life Sciences.

Big Wins Across the Industry

Salesforce Agentforce Life Sciences now has 140+ customersdoubled from under a year ago — including some of the world’s most recognized pharma and medtech names. Industry leaders including Pierre Fabre, Viatris, Fresenius, CSL, Merck Animal Health, Moderna, Chiesi, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Takeda, AbbVie, and Haleon are among those who have selected Agentforce Life Sciences for Customer Engagement  to transform how their commercial and medical teams connect with healthcare professionals and patients.

Global Small Business Commits & Go-lives

Agentforce Life Sciences is purpose-built and able to meet the needs of not only large enterprises but also small and medium-sized businesses and startups. Customers are going live in as little as five weeks, proving the platform’s speed-to-value and ease of deployment, despite having launched just seven months ago, and in sharp contrast with legacy alternatives that have been in the market for years.

  • “We needed to migrate to a platform that could support how our global field teams operate today and scale for the future as AI becomes central to how we work. With Agentforce Life Sciences, we were live in six weeks and our commercial teams globally now have a single, connected view of every field interaction. What excites us most is what comes next. We are already building towards Agentforce deployment at scale and a future where AI agents are ready and available to help us get our treatments to the right patients faster.”  – Rahul Deshmukh, Head of Business Operations and Analytics at Hansa Biopharma AB
  • Adamed Laboratorios, a leading Spanish pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and distribution of prescription drugs, will help modernize its commercial operations and deepen customer relationships with Salesforce’s Agentforce Life Sciences for Customer Engagement. Adamed will unify critical commercial processes, support sophisticated customer engagement across multiple channels, and achieve a comprehensive, 360-degree view of its customers, all working to further their mission of building future commercial excellence. Recent Innovations: Spring ’26 Highlights

While we look toward the upcoming summer updates, our Spring ’26 Release (now GA) has already introduced significant efficiency and compliance gains for pharma and medtech teams. Key highlights include Smart Content Search and Send as Link for more seamless, compliant HCP interactions, and the Quick Visit List which syncs directly with Outlook and Google calendars to streamline field planning.

Teams also gain a unified view of medical inquiries via the Web Visit Console, while the new Signature Page Screen Snapshot ensures an airtight audit trail by capturing the exact disclaimer view at the point of signing.

For a deeper dive into these features, including our latest pilots for Store Checks and Microsoft Teams Integration, check out our full release notes or watch the feature demos.

Coming Soon: Summer ‘26 Release

The Summer ‘26 release will be generally available from June 2026. Here’s a glimpse into what’s coming. Read the full release notes here.

Smarter Field Execution Every rep gets what they need to walk in prepared and follow up compliantly. Briefings delivers daily curated audio summaries for on-the-go account context. Visit Management covers the full interaction lifecycle — remote engagement, pre-call planning, expense reporting, and compliant sign-off. For Japan, EPPV and MID Support handles local regulatory requirements natively with pre-built templates, execution monitoring, and auto-summarization included.
Events and Compliance, Without the Overhead Field Events brings configurable workflows, collaborative planning, expense tracking, and automated quota management to in-person and virtual programs.
A Platform That Works Everywhere Intelligent Content Enhancements unify web and mobile so reps can prepare, present, annotate, and send compliant follow-ups from one place. Offline Lightning Apps extend that coverage further — every supported use case works seamlessly without a signal.
Patient Services & Care Anywhere Home Health for Life Sciences extends efficiency beyond the clinic with visit scheduling, caregiver management, and adherence insights.
Faster to Value, Easier to Scale Salesforce Go Accelerate for customer engagement offers a standard install with pre-built metadata and layouts, or a custom path tailored to your environment — so teams get live faster, whatever the starting point.

Best Practices

Our Customer Success and Professional Services teams have identified a few key areas for a successful go-live:

  • Install in its own org. Agentforce Life Sciences for Customer Engagement is designed to run in a dedicated Salesforce org — ensuring the LS data model, offline capabilities, and agentic workflows perform as designed without configuration conflicts. Follow the Implementation Plan to sequence your phases from org readiness through go-live, then use the Solution Build guide to configure accounts, territories, and engagement planning in the right order.
  • Work with a certified team. Look for implementation partners with hands-on go-live experience and a Salesforce Certified Agentforce Life Sciences Consultant on the project.
  • Leverage your Success Plan. Premier and Signature customers have access to two instructor-led workshops — Set Up Accounts & Territories and Engagement Planning & Execution — built to accelerate ramp and reduce friction. This includes access to a proven framework and automated tool to accelerate migrations.
  • Establish governance early. Align on your consumption model (licenses, Data 360 credits, Agentforce credits), establish a design authority, create a roadmap that centers all stakeholders on a critical path, and run regular health checks throughout the project. Use the Admin Guide as your feature-by-feature setup checklist.
  • Know your deployment surface. Life Sciences Cloud supports both desktop and a full-featured, offline-capable iPad app. Review the Mobile vs. Desktop Comparison and Mobile App customization guide so field teams are set up for success on every surface.
  • Get your data foundation right. Before activating agents at scale, make sure your data is clean, governed, and ready. The Developer Guide covers the full data model — essential reading for any technical architect or integration team. Read the Trusted Context Foundation for Life Sciences to go deeper.
