At TDX 2026, one thing became incredibly clear: The response to Setup with Agentforce was overwhelmingly positive. Many admins already reported great success trying out the Setup with Agentforce beta for tasks like creating objects, troubleshooting user access, and getting information on Salesforce features.
At the same time, across demos, customer conversations, and True to the Core feedback sessions, you asked us to move faster. So we did.
Today, we’re excited to announce that Setup with Agentforce is now Generally Available (GA).
To access Setup with Agentforce, enable Agentforce and Data 360 in your org, both of which are included in Salesforce Foundations.
Before you jump in, check out this introduction to Setup with Agentforce to learn how it works, what it can help you accomplish, and why admins are already using it to simplify Setup and configuration tasks.
Built with admin feedback at the center
During the TDX 2026 True to the Core session, Zach Banks raised an important question around AI credit consumption and predictability for admins. Many other Trailblazers echoed similar concerns throughout TDX and in follow-up conversations with our teams.
We heard you.
As we move into GA, we want admins to feel confident experimenting with and adopting Setup with Agentforce without worrying about unexpected consumption.
Here’s what that means today:
- All Setup actions remain non-billable.
- Setup actions do not consume Agentforce credits.
One caveat: We are currently consuming only a minimal amount of Data 360 credits for our Help and Navigation action. We are planning on moving this action to a different framework around Dreamforce 2026 where it will no longer consume Data 360 credits.

Transparency matters to us, and we’ll continue sharing updates as the product evolves.
Accelerating GA to fuel future innovation
Because of the excitement and momentum from the community, we accelerated our GA timeline. But this milestone is just the beginning.
We are continuing to rapidly deliver new capabilities across Setup with Agentforce, including expanded action coverage, richer guidance experiences, and deeper integrations designed specifically for Salesforce Admins.
Our goal is simple: Help admins spend less time searching, clicking, and troubleshooting, and more time driving impact for their organizations.
Your feedback is always a gift
We’re building Setup with Agentforce alongside the admin community, and your feedback directly shapes our roadmap.
If you’re trying the experience, we’d love to hear:
- What’s working well
- What tasks you want supported next
- Where we can improve
- What would make your admin workflows easier
Please share your feedback in the Trailblazer Community group and continue telling us what you want to see next.
And if you haven’t tried Setup with Agentforce yet, now’s the perfect time to start.
We can’t wait to hear your feedback!
