Announcing end-of-support for AWS Copilot CLI effective February 3, 2025

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to end support for AWS Copilot CLI, effective February 3, 2025. Effective November 4, 2024, AWS Copilot CLI is in maintenance mode and will only receive critical bug fixes and security updates until it reaches end-of-support on February 3, 2025. Existing applications that use this CLI will continue to function as intended, unless there is a breaking change to how AWS services used by AWS Copilot CLI work. This is uncommon and would be communicated if it happens.

Starting February 3, 2025, the AWS Copilot CLI will no longer receive any updates or bug fixes. The GitHub repository will be archived and made read only. You may continue to use, access, and fork this CLI on GitHub. You can send feedback by opening a discussion on GitHub or through your usual AWS Support contacts. Thank you.
